Natinal Geographic

Five things that the film taught me about photography
1.  Search hard for a good subject, it may not present itself to you immediatily.
2.  Lighting is very important, think about what you are taking a picture of.
3.  Try to find a photo with many layers, it adds alot and can make up for a subject that may not be very defined.
4. A photograph can act like a barrier between you and the subject, good for taking some possibly distrurbing yet intriguing and important moments.
5. Explore the world!!!!!

I enjoyed Sam Abell because his work is usually done at night with amazing lighting effects, he really utilizes natural light.

The ideas that layers and good natural lighting were reinforced in this film and what Mr. Garland taught us.  The photographs that he were displayed in the film really reinforced his teachings.
